Guidelines for Online Readings

For Recorded or Live-Stream Readings

Flashlight Press is pleased to permit live-stream and recorded readings of Flashlight Press books online for all non-commercial efforts, platforms, and postings.

These are our only stipulations:

At the beginning of your video, please state the title of the book, the names of both the author and illustrator, and that you are reading the book “with permission from Flashlight Press.”

In the video’s description, please write the author and illustrator’s names, “Published by Flashlight Press”, and a link to the book’s webpage on flashlightpress.com.

We would love to follow along with your read-aloud, so please tag Flashlight Press social media in your posts. Please also send a link to your video to flashlightpress@gmail.com.

Flashlight Press reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to require the modification or removal of any read-aloud video at any time, especially if the usage or quaity does not reflect our standards. Permission to post a read-aloud video is conditioned on compliance with any such request.
